Narrative & AR

AR Story Generator with Toys

Tools: Spark AR, Figma

Concept Overview

This augmented reality (AR) application aims to provide a unique storytelling experience for children by transforming their surrounding toys into interactive story elements. Utilizing artificial intelligence, the app allows children to convert their toys into virtual characters in the AR environment through 3D scanning. These characters and story elements can change based on the tags assigned by the children, creating a variety of storylines. This interactive method not only stimulates children's imagination and creativity but also strengthens their personal connection with the story.

Pain Points

  1. Limited Creativity and Imagination: Existing children's story apps often provide fixed storylines, lacking the space for children to exercise their creativity.
  2. Lack of Interactivity: Many story apps or books lack interactivity, failing to fully engage children's attention and participation.
  3. Lack of Personalized Experience: Traditional children's stories often cannot be adjusted according to the individual interests and preferences of children.
